Cosmetics are purely visual — they don't affect stats, drops, or battles. You unlock them and equip them through the Wardrobe at spawn.

Wardrobe

The Wardrobe NPC is at spawn (you'll find it in the cosmetics/services row). Right-click it to open your owned cosmetics, equip them, and switch outfits.

There are two Wardrobe NPCs in the spawn area — both open the same wardrobe, they're just placed for convenience.

How to get cosmetics

Cosmetics are sold at the Cosmetics Boutique at spawn — open it via the Cosmetics NPC or the /cosmeticsshop command. The boutique pays in Pokédollars and uses a rotating stock model: items cycle in and out periodically rather than being permanently listed.

Cosmetics are still being set up. The boutique currently has a small starter stock (Pikachu Hat, Pokémon Cap). More cosmetics will be added to rotation over the coming weeks.

Equipping

Open the Wardrobe, pick a category, and click an item to equip or unequip. You can wear one item from each category at the same time (one hat, one backpack, one trail, etc.). Equipped cosmetics persist across sessions.

Backpacks auto-hide while you're mounted on a Pokémon — they reappear when you dismount.

Permissions

Each cosmetic is gated by a permission node. The format is dawncosmetics.<type>.<id> — for example, dawncosmetics.hat.pikachu_hat for the Pikachu Hat, or dawncosmetics.particle.flame_trail for the Flame Trail particle.

You don't need to know the nodes day-to-day — the boutique grants the right one when you buy. Staff use these nodes when handing out event rewards or rank perks.
