What Battle Factory Is

Battle Factory is a competitive gauntlet built around rental Pokémon. The format works like this:

• You pick a small team from a pool of rental Pokémon — your own party stays in storage
• No held items from your inventory, no Mega/Tera/Dynamax — just the rentals you're given
• Battle through a streak of opponents; the rentals shuffle between battles
• Wash out and you start the streak over

It's pure piloting — adaptation, type coverage, and team-building on the fly with whatever the game hands you.

When It's Coming

Battle Factory ships as part of the upcoming Battle Frontier system, which adds a full slate of frontier-style facilities (Factory, Tower, and more) accessible as endgame content. Frontier access is gated behind progression in the Voltera region.

The standalone Battle Factory you might have seen referenced in older docs is being replaced — wait for the Frontier launch for the real version.
