The Daycare is PBG's expanded breeding system. It uses Cobblemon pastures and layers on a shiny booster, tiered incubators, and a per-player pasture cap.

Getting started

Visit the Dusty Daycare NPC in Zenith — open /warpsZenithDaycare. The NPC handles the breeding intro and incubator upgrades.

Breeding flow

  1. Place two compatible Pokémon in a pasture.
  2. Egg attempts roll on a timer — see the rates below.
  3. Collect eggs from the pasture (hoppers work).
  4. Hatch by walking with the egg in your party.

Incubators

Five tiers. Capacity and per-tick throughput don't increase linearly — Gold has less capacity than Iron, but ticks one more egg per cycle.

If you're picking one bench to live with, Iron is the all-rounder for capacity, Netherite is the endgame for throughput.

Mechanics worth knowing

  • Both parents pass moves — egg moves can come from either side, not just the father.
  • Hopper collection — eggs auto-pull into a hopper under the pasture.
  • Offline production — eggs accrue retroactively when the pasture chunk loads after you've been offline.
  • Size variation — offspring can hatch larger or smaller than the species default.
  • Egg tooltips — hover an egg to see the species and a peek at its IVs.
