PBG runs two parallel move-teaching systems out of the same NPC: Tutor Moves (Pokédollars per move) and TMs (reusable discs, priced in three tiers by how strong the move is). A second tutor — the Dragon Master — handles dragon-type moves for diamonds. Technical Records have been retired — see below for what to do with any you're still holding.
The Moves Master NPC
The Moves Master — a Professor Shark at spawn — opens both menus:
| Menu | Currency | Reusable? |
|---|---|---|
Tutor Moves (tutormoves menu general) | Pokédollars (₽5,000 for most moves) | Pay each time |
TMs (ttms shop tm) | Pokédollars (₽6,000 / ₽10,000 / ₽14,000, by move) | Yes — reusable |
Tutor Moves
The General Tutor charges 5,000 Pokédollars for most moves — a couple of high-value moves cost more (Outrage runs ₽6,000, Draco Meteor ₽10,000). It pulls from the Tutor Moves and Egg Moves categories of a Pokémon's learnset (TM-only moves are taught through the separate TM shop instead).
- Blacklisted move: Wish.
- Blacklisted Pokémon: Pikachu — use a different teaching path for it.
TMs
Each disc teaches one specific move, regardless of where the Pokémon would normally learn it. TMs are reusable — they stay in your inventory after teaching, so you can use the same disc on multiple Pokémon.
The shop's TMs are priced in three tiers by move strength:
| Tier | Price | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | ₽6,000 | Weaker/common moves |
| Tier 2 | ₽10,000 | Mid-strength moves |
| Tier 3 | ₽14,000 | Strong/competitive moves |
Hidden Power is the one move not sold. Technical Records are retired and no longer sold. If you're still holding one, right-click it in the air to convert it into a single-use TM for that same move — it'll teach the move once and then be consumed, just like it always did.
Crafting single-use TMs
Prefer not to buy a reusable disc? You can craft a single-use TM for a move at a TM Machine using that move's type gem(s) — the more gems a move needs, the harder it hits. Gems are sold at the Pokemart for ₽1,000 each, or found from raids, mining below the surface, and exploring ruins. Most recipes only unlock once you own a Pokémon that already knows the move, so catching and training toward a move is still part of the path to teaching it elsewhere.
A crafted TM is consumed the moment it teaches a move — if you want to teach the same move again later, you'll need to craft (or buy) another.
Dragon Master
A separate, permission-gated dragon-move tutor. How you reach it isn't confirmed — it may be a donator/unlock perk rather than a tile on the Moves Master menu (which only shows Tutor Moves and TMs). It pays in diamonds, not Pokédollars, and teaches only a curated dragon-move list.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Permission | tutormoves.open.dragonmaster |
| Currency | Diamonds |
| Default cost | 3 diamonds per move |
| Move list | Draco Meteor, Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance |
| Blacklisted Pokémon | Jirachi |
How to teach a move
- Visit the Moves Master at spawn, or use the relevant command.
- Pick the menu (Tutor Moves / TMs).
- Select the move and the Pokémon to teach.
- Confirm — currency is deducted on confirmation.
Not every move is learnable by every Pokémon — the menu will hide or grey out moves your selected Pokémon can't learn.
