Mega Evolution temporarily transforms a Pokémon into a stronger form during battle, boosting its stats and sometimes changing its type or ability. It reverts at the end of the match.

How to Unlock

  1. Reach Scout Dex rank — complete the Scout tier in Pokédex Ranks and claim it via /dexranks.
  2. Receive your Mega accessory — any of the Mega Bracelet, Mega Cuff, Mega Charm, Mega Ring, or a Key Stone will work.
  3. Give your Pokémon the matching Mega Stone as its held item before battle.
  4. Activate during battle — pick the Mega Evolution option when choosing your move.
The exact Scout-tier accessory grant needs verification — any one of the five Mega accessories enables the mechanic, so check the Pokédex Ranks page for current details.

Mega Stones

Each Mega Stone is tied to a specific species (Charizardite X for Mega Charizard X, etc.). The Pokémon has to be holding it when battle starts — held items can't be swapped mid-fight.
