Terastallization is the Generation 9 battle gimmick — a Pokémon "Tera-types" mid-fight, swapping its battle type to whatever Tera type it's locked to.

Where Tera Is Allowed

• Open play — Terastallization is available in unranked battles, raids, and overworld encounters
• Ranked — Tera is disabled in the current season (see Ranked)

What's On the Server

• Tera Orb — the accessory that lets a Pokémon Terastallize once per battle
• Tera Shards — per-type shards (Fire, Water, Ghost, Dragon, etc.) used to change a Pokémon's Tera type

Tera Shards stack to 50.

How to Unlock

The Tera Orb unlocks at the Apex Pokédex rank (85% dex completion) — claim it via /dexranks. Once you have the orb, Tera works like any other Cobblemon mechanic: hold the Orb, pick a Tera type via shards, activate during battle.
