UltraSpace is a separate dimension built around Ultra Beasts. Four biomes, an unfamiliar wild-spawn pool, and the only place where Ultra Beasts spawn in the open world. Catch rates here were reworked in May 2026 — landing an Ultra Beast or Paradox Pokémon is meant to feel earned.

Getting there

Open /warps (or talk to the Warp Master at spawn) → SpecialUltraSpace. You drop within 1000 blocks of the dimension's centre. To leave, use /spawn or any warp.

The four biomes

UltraSpace has four biomes, each with its own terrain, palette, and spawn pool:

  • Purple Forestultraspace:purple_forest
  • Lava Canyonultraspace:lava_canyon
  • Biomechanical Plainsultraspace:biomechanical_plains
  • Stormcrack Fieldsultraspace:stormcrack_fields

Different Ultra Beasts spawn in different biomes, so it's worth visiting all four before you decide a target is unfindable.

Ultra Beasts

Ultra Beasts spawn primarily in UltraSpace. The full roster:

  • Nihilego
  • Buzzwole
  • Pheromosa
  • Xurkitree
  • Celesteela
  • Kartana
  • Guzzlord
  • Poipole
  • Naganadel
  • Stakataka
  • Blacephalon

Beast Balls have the best catch rate on Ultra Beasts. See Ultra Beasts for the catching guide.

Tips

  • Bring a strong team. The wild pool here trends high-level and hits hard.
  • Stock Beast Balls before you arrive — they're not sold in UltraSpace.
  • Catch rates were tightened in the May 2026 update; expect to throw more than you would for a comparable overworld legendary.
