Sumo is a 1v1 duel — knock your opponent off the platform to win the round, and win enough rounds to take the match. While you fight, you're both disguised as a giant Pokémon rather than your own skin.
Unlike Racing, Soccer, and the Crane Game, Sumo doesn't run on a fixed schedule — the arenas are open any time; you just need someone else to queue up against.
Joining a match
Open the browser with /sumo, or jump straight into an arena with /sumo join <arena>. Leave with /sumo leave. A match needs exactly two players — the join screen tracks players against a fixed "/2".
You can also open Sumo from the Minigames menu → The Arena → Sumo.
Matches can also run as sign-up tournaments from the tournament menu — sign up and you'll be matched against other entrants; leave your spot from the same menu if you change your mind.
The format
You're pushed out of the fight the moment you drop below the arena's fall-height — knock your opponent off the platform, or off the edge, to take the round. Hits land with a "Sumo Stick."
| Arena | Disguise | Fall height (Y) | Rounds to win |
|---|---|---|---|
| CharmanderArena | Charmander (3× scale); you can see your own disguise | Y 23 | 5 |
| PikachuArena | Pikachu (3× scale); your own disguise is hidden from your own view | Y 19 | 5 |
Round and match structure
First to 5 round wins takes the match on both arenas. A bossbar tracks the running score through the fight.
