Racing puts you and up to eight other players on Pokémon mounts, running a lap circuit through a set of checkpoints — first across the line after the final lap places highest.

The only track currently configured, Track01, stocks a single mount in its pool — everyone races on a Level 50 Arcanine.

Joining a race

Open the browser with /race alias: /carrera to see active races and click one to join or spectate, or jump straight into a specific arena with /race join <arena>. Leave anytime with /race leave. You can also reach the race browser from the Minigames menu → The ArenaRace.

A new race also gets a chat announcement with a one-click join link when it's created.

While you're racing

Hit the six checkpoints on Track01 in order across 3 laps to finish. Along the way you can:

  • Pick up coins on the track — up to 10 at a time, each giving a small speed boost — or hit another racer to knock 3 coins loose from them for anyone to grab (a flat drop, not a cut of what they're carrying); a bow arrow hit knocks loose 2 instead.
  • Grab power-ups: a bow, a speed boost, a shield, or a slow trap to drop behind you.

Fall off the track and you lose a coin but get rescued back onto the course after about a second.
