Every so often — somewhere between 60 and 90 minutes apart — a Pokémon trivia question is broadcast to everyone online. You have 30 seconds to type the answer in chat. The first correct answer wins; everyone else is told who got it and what the answer was.
How a question plays out
- Watch chat for a trivia question.
- Type your answer in chat before the 30 seconds are up.
- If you're first and correct, you get a "rewarded with some loot" message and your prize is sent to your mail.
- If nobody gets it in time, the correct answer is shown and the question is dropped.
Answers aren't case-sensitive, and many questions accept alternate spellings (for example "Lt. Surge" or "Surge").
Question types
Questions come from a hand-written pool of Pokémon general knowledge, plus auto-generated rounds built from the live Pokédex:
- National Dex number to Pokémon, and Pokémon to Dex number
- Identify a Pokémon or a move from its Pokédex description
- Pokémon type, ability, or egg group
- Type of a move
- Unscramble a Pokémon or move name
Rewards
Each win rolls one prize at random. Prizes are delivered through Mail — type /mail to claim.

Speed matters more than anything else — there's no score to build up, just one question at a time. Keep chat open and answer quickly.
