Quests are the central player loop on PBG. Open your journal with /quests to see what's active, what's available, and what you can claim. Pin the ones you care about with /quests track — tracked quests show on the sidebar at the right of your screen.

Most quests pay out in Pokédollars, and nearly all of them also award Season Pass XP.

Getting started

Your first quest, Getting Started, begins automatically the moment you arrive at spawn. It walks you through the essentials, in order:

  1. Choose your starter — pick your first partner Pokémon at the pads.
  2. Claim your kit — run /kit.
  3. Read the rules — run /rules.
  4. Check the help menu — run /help for commands and links.
  5. Browse the guides — run /guide.
  6. Claim your daily — run /daily.
  7. Head out — explore spawn, then run /rtp when you're ready.

Finishing it pays ₽1,000 + 10 Poké Balls and unlocks everything at once: your daily, weekly, and monthly quests, the Zenith Gym Challenge, and a short breeding intro — First Steps in Breeding sends you to the Dusty Daycare at spawn to claim your first Incubator for ₽1,500.

Quest categories

Dailies, weeklies, and monthlies each draw a handful of tasks from a larger pool every cycle, so you get a fresh rotation rather than the whole list at once.

The daily pool covers catch-by-type, mining, fishing, evolving, friendship, scanning, healing, harvesting and more. The long-form Overworld set — boss_hunter, champion_fighter, dex_collector, evolution, first_catch, growing_stronger, hatch_an_egg, home_sweet_home, pokemon_trainer, shiny_seeker, trader — never expires, so pick away at it between dailies.

Mastery quests

Two parallel ladders open up once you've cleared Champion Leon and the Royal League:

  • Zenith Mastery — rematch all 8 Zenith gym leaders across Easy / Medium / Hard tiers
  • Royal Mastery — rematch the Royal League across Easy / Medium / Hard tiers

The Easy → Medium → Hard tier gate is global: you must clear both Zenith Easy and Royal Easy before either Medium starts. Royal Hard runs as a single sequential gauntlet — lose any leg and the Hard run resets.

Capstones: Charizardite Y + ₽10,000 for Zenith Hard, Choice Specs + ₽25,000 for clearing the Royal Hard gauntlet.

See Gym Mastery for the full per-leader breakdown.

Tips

  • The tutorial is the gate — daily, weekly, and monthly quests unlock the moment you finish Getting Started, so knock it out first.
  • Use /quests track on whatever you're actively chasing; the sidebar keeps it in front of you while you play.
  • Long-form Overworld quests don't expire. They pay the biggest single one-time rewards on the menu.
  • Many quests share progress with normal play — catching a Water-type for a daily also counts toward the monthly catch goal.
