The Area Zero Update: PBG’s First Legendary Quest

Deep in Area Zero the lab lights are out, four generators sit cold, and the scientists whisper of an altar that answers only to a Cyclizar. Park Ball Gang’s first Legendary Quest starts now, the first of many.

New

The Legendary Quest: Miraidon & Koraidon — It begins with a hunt: defeat 150 Past Paradox Pokémon inside Area Zero for Koraidon, or 150 Future Paradox for Miraidon, before the way opens. Then bring the scientists what the four generators need, cross the portal and stand at the Paradox Altar with a Cyclizar. Survive four waves of six empowered Paradox Pokémon for 60 seconds and the legend answers. Three attempts a week.

Cuddlemon Plushie Collection — Fifty new plushies, from the Kanto starters to Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Groudon, drop from the new Cuddlemon Crate, with a shout-out on each legendary pull.

Wardrobe Expansion — Pick up hats themed after Pokémon like Bidoof, Mimikyu, Mismagius, Shaymin, Sylveon and Rayquaza, a Detective Pikachu-style cap, offhand Poké Ball and Pokédex accessories, and a matching backpack.

Lucky Race & Disaster Survival — Race through a course of luck blocks for rewards, or test yourself against a wave of disasters in the same arena. Both events are staff-started for now, so listen for an announcement rather than expecting them to kick off on their own.

Alpha Raids — Alpha Raids let you team up for boss-style battles against Alpha Pokémon. The arena location hasn't been placed yet, so staff will announce when it opens — but defeating alphas already counts toward its unlock, so early wins aren't wasted.

Improved

Area Zero NPCs Now Speak Clearly — The four power generators, both portals and all nine lab scientists have full dialogue written for them, and a mix-up that gave the scientists another NPC's lines has been corrected so they speak for themselves. Item names called out in their dialogue are also easier to read.

Generator Activation Effects — Each of the four power generators gives clear audio and visual feedback when activated, so you always know the ritual is progressing.

Vote Party Rewards Reworked — Your personal vote reward is now a Plushie Crate Key plus a random Generation 1-9 booster pack. The server-wide bonus boosts vote parties can trigger used to fail more often than not — they now fire reliably every time.

Area Zero's Full Map Restored — Area Zero is rebuilt from its smaller, half-finished layout: every generator lab, the ritual lab and southern arena are now explorable.

Fixed

Tapu Fini Roaming Hunts Fixed — Tapu Fini's roaming spot was set to appear underwater in jungle biomes, so a valid spawn near hunters could never be found and the hunt just kept rerolling. It now roams on land in jungle biomes like the other Tapus, so the hunt can succeed on its next scheduled roll.

Vote Party Make-Up Delivery — A one-time delivery went out to make good on the vote party held while the reward bug was live, giving affected players the Plushie Crate Key and Generation 1-9 booster pack they should have gotten.

Paradox Altar Pedestal Fixed — The pedestal decoration used to render lying on its side at half scale; it now displays correctly where the ritual takes place.
